Every attempt will be made to resolve the issue at the school level. In the event that it can not be taken care of at the school the complaint will be directed to the Curriculum Media Specialist. If the issue is still not resolved the next steps are as follows:

The district will:
- Assign the appropriate district office employee to meet with complaint issuer to try and resolve the problem.
- If a resolution is still not reached then the information will be forwarded to the Assistant Superintendent who will meet with the Curriculum Media Specialist to determine whether the issue has been covered by previous decisions.
- If the matter has not been covered previously, the assistant superintendent will forward the issue to a reconsideration committee. Once the committee has made a decision that information will be forwarded to the Superintendent.
- Within five days of the committee's ruling and the recommendation of the assistant superintendent thee Superintendent will provide written notification of the decision to the complainant.
- If the decision is still not what the original complaint was hoping for the ruling can be appealed.
